KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Life EMS and other health agencies are stepping up to cover patients who are in need of life-saving transportation.
The emergency medical service was forced to come up with a plan after West Michigan Air Care announced they were ending all helicopter patient transport beginning in April, due to a decline in flights.
