Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-Basic)

Grand Rapids Summer 2026 EMT Academy – An accelerated course running from May 13th, 2026 – August 14th, 2026

This EMT course allows the student increased flexibility to work around your current schedule. Prior to each class, you have the flexibility to engage in independent preparation of assigned materials at your own pace.  Students will meet for required in-person class dates every Wednesday, beginning with the first day of class May 13, from 8:00am – 5:00pm. The final week of class (August 10th – August 14th) will be completely in-person each day of the week for final review and exams.

Registration:

EMT course registrations closes 4 days before the course scheduled start date or when the class reaches capacity. Class size is limited.  (Pre-course information is distributed via email approximately 1 month prior to the 1st day of class)

Course Fees:

• $200 Non-refundable Registration Fee – Secures your seat in the course
• $1750 EMT Full Course Fee – Due in full a week before the first day of class

The Full Course Fee includes the Textbook, Workbook, MDHHS Objectives, Blood Pressure Cuff & Stethoscope.

NOTE:

• You MUST pay a Registration Fee to secure a seat in the class.

• ONLY pay the Full Course Fee after paying the Registration Fee.
