Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B)

Grand Rapids Summer 2025 EMT Academy – An accelerated course running from May 21, 2025 – August 15, 2025

Our accelerated EMT course is a blended schedule with a significant portion done online, with flexibility for you to work around your current schedule. Students will meet for the required in-person class dates every Wednesday beginning with the first day of class May 21st, from 8:00am-5:00pm. The final week of class (August 11th-August 14th) will be completely in-person for final reviews and exams.

Registration:

EMT course registrations close 4 days before the course scheduled start date or when the class reaches capacity. Class size is limited.

Course Fees:

• $200 non-refundable registration fee to secure your seat in the course
• $1750 EMT course fee – due in full a week before the start of the course

The course fee includes the textbook, workbook, MDHHS objectives, blood pressure cuff & stethoscope, BLS certification and safety glasses.

NOTE: You MUST pay a Registration fee to secure a seat in the class. Do not pay a Course Fee if you haven’t already paid a Registration fee.

The Registration fee Quantity is the indicator of how many seats are still open in the class.
